Indian Navy Recruitment 2016: Indian Navy has Invited Applications from unmarried male candidates for joining the Indian Navy as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in Executive and Technical Branches GS/ SUB of the Indian Navy for grant of Short Service Commission, course commencing from Jan 2017. Age Limit: Candidates should be between 19 1/2 to 25 years i.e., should be born between 02-07-1992 to 01-07-1997 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed BE/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Marine/ Automotive/ Mechtronics/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks in aggregate for pos-I, II-1, BE/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Marine/ Automotive/ Mechtronics/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum 55% marks in aggregate for post-II-2.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on academic merit, SSB interview (Intelligence test, Picture Perception, Discussion test, Psychological test, Group test & interview), medical examination.
